Upgrade Workstations Automatically

  1. Log in as an administrator to the computer that contains the Viewpoint Estimating server.
  2. Navigate to the Updates\Workstation Installers folder under where Viewpoint Estimating is installed.
    Note: If you accepted the defaults during installation, navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxwell Systems\ProContractorMX\Updates\WorkstationInstallers folder.
  3. Copy the install file for the Viewpoint Estimating workstation that you downloaded earlier or received from Viewpoint to this folder.
    When the workstation connects to the server, the user is prompted to run the installer program to upgrade the workstation.
