Each row in the grid on the Contact Type screen contains a contact type.
Click 
to add a
row to the grid. Click 
to delete the active row from the
grid. See Grids for more tips on using grids.
| Field | Description |

| Contact Type | Enter a unique identifier of up to eight alphanumeric characters for the contact type. |
| Name | Enter the name of the contact type. |
| Project Permissions | If you
want to set security at a project level, click  to select the level of
project permissions for the contact type. To set security at a project
level, you also need to set project permissions on the User screen to Access
By Contact Type.

| Memo | Enter any comments or notes about the contact type. |
| Status | Specify
the status of the contact type.
