Create a prospect

Open the Prospect screen.
Do one of the following:
- If you want the application to assign a prospect code based on the prospect's name, click to select Yes in the Auto Assign Prospect field.
- If you want to assign your own prospect code, enter a code of up to eight alphanumeric characters to identify the prospect in the Prospect field.
  Note: Use the System Settings screen to enable the auto assign option and control how the application creates auto-assigned codes.
Press Tab.
In the Name field, enter the name of the prospect.
Complete the fields as described on the Prospect Screen Field Reference .
Click Save Prospect.
