You can upload drawings to the library from either Trimble
Connect, VFP or from your computer. You must add a revision number to all uploaded drawings.
- Confirm you're working in the correct project.
- Select the menu
icon in the upper left corner, then choose Project Setup. Select Drawings. - Select Drawings Library.
- Select +Add Library Drawing.
- If needed, set the correct DPIs for uploading and change the Grayscale checkbox.
- Select Upload Drawing.
- Select Add Drawing From Trimble
Connect, VFP or Computer, and choose Upload Drawing.
- If you're adding a drawing from Trimble
Connect:
- You must be signed in and have projects available.
- Select the region.
- Select the project and choose Continue.
- Select the drawing and choose Upload.
- Add a description of the drawing in the Description field.
- Select Add Drawing From Trimble
Connect.
Field
View uploads the drawings and adds a tag saying they are Connect.
- If you’re adding a drawing from VFP:
- Navigate to the location of the drawing. You can use the Filter field to find the drawing more easily.
- Select the drawings. You can choose more than one.
- Choose Upload.
- Add a description of the drawing in the Description field. If the drawings in VFP have descriptions, they don't automatically populate in Field
View.
- The Name and Revision fields automatically update. You can’t change these fields.
- Select Add Drawing from VFP.
Field
View uploads the drawings and adds a tag saying they are from VFP.
- If you’re adding a drawing from your computer:
- Add a description of the drawing in the Description field.
- Add a revision number in the Revision field.
- Select Add Drawing from Computer.
- Navigate to and choose the drawings. You can choose more than one. Select Open.
Field
