The third release of Viewpoint Field View™ in 2020 delivers three new APIs and enhancements to existing ones. Additionally, this release includes fixes for customer-reported mobile and web issues.
APIs - New
GetProjectFormsComments() provides Form and Form Answer comments that have been added within the specified date range, allowing you to get all comments across all forms rather than requiring a different call for each form.
To support this new API, the existing CommentInformation result set has been extended with three additional fields.
GetProjectFormAttachments() returns a list of photos and documents that have been added or modified within a specified date range, allowing you to get all photos or documents across all forms rather than requiring a different call for each form.
GetGeometryTree() returns the entire sub-tree hierarchy below the specified root element. Now you don't have to make a separate call for each level of the tree.
APIs - Enhanced
The GetProcessDetails() API method now accepts an optional date range parameter, allowing you to reduce the size of your result set.
The GetProjectTasksList() and the GetProjectFormTasksList() API methods now accept an optional parameter includeDeleted that when supplied includes deleted Tasks in the response.
Only TLS 1.2 or Higher are Supported
As previously announced, in a continued effort to improve security and keep up to date with industry security standards, Viewpoint will be ending support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on 30 April. You may need to take action before then in order to continue to connect and sync your application after that date. For details, please see this Knowledge Base article.
