The October release of Field View added the ability to rapidly assign packages of work to third-party organisations, such as subcontractors, from within a single consolidated tool within project setup. You can also now more easily manage your drawings by removing unused and unassigned drawings from the library or deactivating drawings you want to hide directly within field view. We’ve made updates to Android, giving it the same look as the functions in iOS, and we removed the ability to delete the Form Location question from form templates, preventing problems with moving pins and other issues.
Quick-Assign Packages
Field View added the ability to assign packages from their business library to subcontractors and other collaborators on the Project Packages page, efficiently keeping package management in the same place. Select the packages from your Business Library and use the new editable grid feature to quickly assign organisations to those packages for a reduced effort in creating work assignments.
Enhanced Drawing Management
You are now able to delete drawings that are unused or unassigned. Deleting the drawing also lets the name be used for other drawings.
You can also deactivate a drawing that has been used or assigned. Deactivating a drawing will keep it in the library but hide it to prevent others from using it.
Continued Localisation Efforts
We’re continuing to translate the web application based on your browser language. In addition, the Help is scheduled to be translated into Dutch, French, and German by the end of 2024. Some pages may remain in the original English temporarily as we strive to provide the most accurate translations.
