The Field View R4 release introduced a variety of new capabilities and system adjustments across the application. We made improvements to forms and tasks by providing enhanced location searching and filtering. Organization roles have been phased out and classic web links will be removed.
Field View may experience temporary downtime outside of normal business hours for each region during the release. We are working hard to ensure a smooth transition and are excited to bring you this new update.
Email address change in UK data centre
Starting Wednesday evening on 27/05/2026, Field View will stop sending email from Priority1@mobilecomputing.uk.net and start sending email from noreply@mail.fieldview.trimble.com.

Form and task locations
Users can search the location tree with a text search on the form or task location question. The dropdown results will show a list of expanded locations with the matching search term highlighted in bold.
Location filters on all pages now include an option to include inactive locations, allowing you to search for forms or tasks assigned to locations that are no longer active.
Organization and role management
Organization roles are no longer supported and will be migrated to equivalent user or project roles. This change prepares the system for the removal of user management pages in classic Field View.
Project organizations will be removed from the classic web navigation menu.
