Import the Information Planner

You can import the information planner from a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file to easily define the roles, stages, and deliverables for a new project.

Before you can import the information planner, you must have access to the Configure Project Protocols function for the BIM container.

Note: The import requires a specific format. To avoid errors, we recommend that you export an information planner and use the structure of the Excel file to import.

In the navigation tree, select the BIM container to display the BIM Home page.
Click Configure Project Protocols and select the COBie & Information Planner tab.
Click Choose File.
A file explorer appears.
Navigate to the Excel planner file, select the file, can click Open.
The file uploads, and an import log saves to your browser's download location.
