A nested drop down field can be used to provide up to three linked drop down
controls, each containing values determined by the selection in the previous drop
down.
- Configure the first drop down as you would a standard drop down by adding values to the Options
field.
In the Name field, you will need to place a / between each word in order to name each drop down control.
- Click
to display another Options field. For each value in the first Options field, enter the values that will be shown in the second Options field.
For example, when Animal is selected in the first drop down, the values Reptile, Bird, and
Mammal will show in the second drop down.
- To add a third drop down control, click
to display another Options field. For each value in
the second Options field, enter the values that will be shown in the third
Options field.
