Custom fields allow you to record and track custom metadata on your documents and items.
For example, you can create a custom field that must be completed each time a document is uploaded to a specific enterprise, site or project. This custom field can then be used to search for documents
When you add a custom field to an enterprise, site, or project, it will apply to all of the levels below the selected enterprise, site, or project.
