Close Incomplete Tasks

You can close a task that has not been completed if no more work is expected to be done on the task. This changes the status of the task to Closed Uncompleted.

  1. From the Items page of the task container that contains the task, right-click on the mouse icon next to the task, and select Close.
    The Close Item window displays.
  2. Enter information about the closing of the task in Body Text.
  3. Click OK.
This changes the status of the task to Closed Uncompleted. You can no longer add information to this task, unless you reopen it.
