You can load markups created against previous versions or
revisions of a document and compare two revisions of the same file in the Brava Viewer if
the Compare feature has been enabled by your administrator.
Documents can be overlayed or
compared side-by-side for ease during your document review processes. For details on
using the Brava Viewer toolbar, see
Brava Viewer Toolbars.
-
Navigate to the file you want to view,
right-click, and select View and
Markup.
The file opens in the Brava
Viewer.
-
In the Revisions panel, under the
Compare drop-down menu, select one of the
following:
- Compare Previous Revision - to compare the current revision to
the previous revision
- Compare with Revision # - to compare a specific revision from the
drop-down list (if there are more than two revisions)
- Compare Files - to compare two documents to identify the
differences between them
If you select one of the Revision options, the
revision opens in the Viewer, adjacent to the original in Side-by-Side mode. If
you select the Compare
Files option, the Attachment Picker window appears, where you
can enter search criteria for the document or version you want to compare to and
click Search to locate the file for
comparison.
-
Once you have chosen to compare a revision or
file, use the icons within the Brava Viewer Toolbars to
compare the revisions or files.
Restriction: When using the Compare toolbar,
most of the functionality associated with Annotate, Review, Redact, Measure,
and Publishing (except Save View as .JPG) will not be available for
use.
