Use short link codes for quick and easy access to documents. If you have access to VFP, you can add an item's Short Code link to a URL to directly access the item from anywhere with internet access.
Short codes can be used to provide a quick link to the following item types:
- Document Headers
- Document Revisions
- Tasks
- Discussions
- Find the item and right-click on the
icon and click Properties.The Document Properties window will display. The Short Code is listed in the top section.
- Copy the short link code minus the # and add it to one of the following URLs.
- https://n3g.4projects.com/sc/ - Use this link if your enterprise is on the UK data center.
- https://3g.4projects-na.viewpointcs.com/sc/ - Use this link if your enterprise is on the North American data center.
- https://3g.au-vpc.viewpoint.com/sc/ - Use this link if your enterprise is on the Australian data center.
- https://apac.VFP.viewpoint.com/sc - Use this link if your enterprise is on the Singapore data center.
