Upload Zip Files

You can upload a zip file and unzip it as you are uploading or keep it zipped in Viewpoint For Projects™.

The Upload File(s) menu is only available if you are using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Internet Explorer 11.
  1. From the container's Items page, click Upload File(s) > New Unregistered Item(s).
  2. Select Unzip.
    Important: If you want the file to remain zipped, do not select Unzip.
  3. Click Select and browse to the item. Click Open.
  4. Click Upload.
    A list of uploaded files will display.
  5. Click Close.
Item are uploaded as unregistered and appear greyed out on the Items page of the container. You can keep them unregistered so only you can view them or you can register them.
