From Team, you can convert a user
defined form imported from Vista into a form template that can be
used in Field View.
- Make sure you have reviewed the requirements described in System Requirements.
- In Vista, make sure any UD forms you want to convert are selected as
Enable for Field Capture.
-
If you haven't done so already, log in to Team.
-
Click on your name in the upper right corner and
select Admin
Center.
Note: If you don't see Admin Center, you have
not been set up as an administrator. Contact your System Administrator for
assistance.
The Enterprise tab
appears.
-
Click the Enterprise Settings tab and
select User Defined
Forms.
The User Defined Forms page
appears. This page displays all available user defined forms imported from
Vista.
-
Click the Refresh button to update the
list.

Note
the refresh process can take several minutes or longer.
-
Click the check box(es) for one or more forms to
select them, and then click the Convert button.
A confirmation message
appears when the conversion is complete.
In Field View, the converted UD forms and all of their associated UD
lookups will be available for use as form templates. Note that, in
Field View, the converted forms
will be available in the highest level Business Unit in your Organization and will
be categorized as Form Type: Vista Imported Forms.
To begin using a converted
form template, follow the same steps for using any form template in the Field View Classic application. First, set
workflow permissions for the new "Vista Workflow," then set form permissions, and then
assign the form template to a project. After that, you can switch to the New Field View application view and add a new form
using the imported template.
