You can add folders to other folders as needed to
organize your documents in a way that makes sense to you by going to . There is one default folder for each project and all added folders
are contained within that folder.
You can set folder security when you create a new folder. See Folder Access and Security for details.
Instead of creating each folder on the project, you could import the
folder structure from another project. See Copy the Document Folder Structure from Another Project.
- From the home page, under Projects, select the name of
the project you want to open.
Alternatively, go to the main menu

in the upper left-hand corner, select
Projects, and then select the
name of the project you want to open.
The Dashboard for the project
appears.
- Select the Documents tab.

Navigate to and click on the folder to which you want to add a
sub folder.

Click the Add Folder button
in the upper right corner.
The
Create
a New Folder window
appears.

(Required) In the Folder Name field,
enter a name for the folder.

By default, visibility is set to
private for top level folders. If you are adding a top level
folder, click the Visibility button to make the folder
public to all contacts on the project.
For sub-folders, the visibility is automatically set to match
the parent folder.
The selected option is highlighted and appears
bold.

If the visibility is set to
Private, in the Collaboration field, enter a contact's
name or email address to find the contact and then click on
the contact to give them access to the folder. If needed,
you can add new contacts. See Add a New Contact on the Fly in a Folder.
You can give access to as
many project contacts as needed. Each contact with access is
listed below the
Collaboration field. Click
Remove next to a contact's name to
remove their access to the folder.
Note: If a contact has access to the
folder because they have access to a parent folder,
Inherited appears to the right of the contact. You
cannot remove their access to the folder from this
window. You can only remove the contact's access to
the parent folder where they were given
access.

Click Create Folder.
The new folder is added to the project where you selected to add it in the
folder structure.
