Open a Previous Revision of a Drawing

You can open a previous revision of a drawing in Viewpoint Teamby going to Projects > Drawings.

  1. From the home page, under Projects, select the name of the project you want to open.
    Alternatively, go to the main menu in the upper left-hand corner, select Projects, and then select the name of the project you want to open.
    The Dashboard for the project appears.
  2. Select the Drawings tab.
  3. In the Revision column, click on the revision number of the drawing.
    The Sheet History window appears.

    Note that there are separate columns for Revision and Version. The Revision number is updated when a new drawing file with the same name is uploaded to Team. Whereas, the Version number is updated when any changes, such as markups or notes, are saved to the current drawing.

  4. In the File column, click on the link of the previous Revision or Version that you want to open.
The selected Revision or Version of the drawing opens in the PDF viewer.
