Invite a contact to a project in Viewpoint Team™ to allow that contact to collaborate on
the project by going to .
When you invite a contact, that contact
receives an email with a link to the project in Viewpoint Team™. The contact can create a login at that time if
necessary. - From the home page, under Projects, select the name of
the project you want to open.
Alternatively, go to the main menu

in the upper left-hand corner, select
Projects, and then select the
name of the project you want to open.
The Dashboard for the project
appears.

Select the Contacts tab.
- Do one of the following to invite a contact:
- If the contact has already been added to the
project:
- In the row for the contact you want to
invite, click Invite. The Invite to the
Project window appears.
- In the Project Role
field, select the type of access the contact should have to
Viewpoint Team™.
- (Optional) In the Message field, enter a customized message for
the invitee.
- Click Send
Invitation.
- If the contact has not yet been added to the
project:
- Click the Add Contact
button to open the Add Contacts or Users to Project page.
- Click the Team Contacts
or PM Firm
Contacts tab to search for contacts from Team or
from PM Firms in Vista.
- Enter the first few letters of the contact's
name, organization, or email address in the Search field, or
click the alphanumeric links to filter by first letter or
number. Select the contact from the list.
You can select multiple contacts to add/invite them all at
once. For organizations, you can select individual contacts
from an organization or add all contacts from the
organization.
- From the right-hand column, click the
Invite link for each contact, or click
Invite
All, and then select the type of access each
contact should have.
- (Optional) In the Message field, enter a customized message for
the invitee.
- Click Add/Invite.
An email invitation is sent to the contact(s).
The Project Role is displayed. If the contact does not yet have a log in for Viewpoint Team™, (invited) is displayed with
the Project Role on the Contacts page. Once the contact creates an account, just the
Project Role is displayed.
