Project Settings for Issues

You can set a number of defaults for issues in the project settings. Setting defaults can save you time when you create new issues and can help your collaborators select the right details when they create issues.

The defaults can be overridden on individual issues. You can set the following:
  • Automatically number issues based on project number or project number and issue type.
  • Set default contacts to send issues to based on the issue type.
  • Set the default number of days to respond to an issue.
  • Set the default issue type for issues created by collaborators.
