If you have a business messaging account with your mobile
carrier, such as Verizon Business Messaging, you can link your portal to that account to
send SMS messages through the portal. This provides greater assurance that users with that
same carrier receive SMS messages.
Follow the steps for Configure SMS Messages, which
require that you set up a user-defined combo box in Vista for recording each carrier.
However, when you set up the combo box, set the DatabaseValue for all carrier options
to the same email address. Then complete the remaining configuration steps.
