Migrate from SAML to Trimble ID Logins

Modified: 23 Sep 2026 Vista Field Service Sign In and Profile Help

Follow these steps to migrate from a sign-in system using an SAML provider to Trimble ID.

You must be a System Admin to complete this task.
Important: Once you complete this this task, your users will be unable to sign in via SAML.
  1. If you are already using an Identity Provider (IdP), federate that identity.
Your IdP domain is now a recognized sign-in for Trimble ID sign ins.
  2. Go to Admin > Portal Settings > Security / Login > Single Sign On and enable Enable SSO through TC1 login.
  3. In Vista Web, go to Admin > Portal Settings > Security / Login > Windows Authentication Login > Log in mode and select TID/VPID SSO Only from the dropdown.
  4. Test the sign-in page in an incognito browser window.
Users with the IdP domain in their email now go sign in like a the Native Trimble ID user. For directions, see Sign in to Vista Web with Trimble ID.
Users without an email address must either be manually linked or set up as a managed user. For details, see:
