Assign Licences to Users

In the Admin Console, if a user doesn't already exist, they will be invited to create their Trimble ID when you assign them a licence.

  • To be able to assign licences, you need to purchase them. See Online Purchasing, or contact your sales rep.
  • If you want to assign licences to more than 20 users (and add users at the same time, if needed), see Assign Licences in Bulk.
To assign licences to up to 20 users in the Admin Console:
  1. In the left pane, select Products & Licences.
  2. In the grid, locate and select the name of the subscription.
  3. Select Manage subscription.
  4. Select Manage and then select Assign licences.
  5. In the Name or email box, enter the email address of each user you want to grant a licence to.
  6. Select Assign licences.
    A pop-up indicates the number of licences assigned. Select Done.
What happens next:
  • Licences are assigned to the entered users.
  • Each user receives an email from noreply@accounts.trimble.com.
  • Any user who does not already have a Trimble ID is provided with a link to create their Trimble ID.
