Create a Subcontract Change Order and Route it for Approval

Create a subcontract change order to change the commitment of pricing, scope of work, terms, and conditions for a subcontractor.

You must Create a Subcontract before you can create a subcontract change order.
Note: You can use document routing only if you have selected the Document Routing Distribution Control checkbox on the Document Management Settings screen.
Tip: You can also create a subcontract change order without routing it for approval. See Create a Subcontract Change Order for details.
  1. On the Enter Subcontract Change Order screen, enter the details of the subcontract change order.
  2. Select the users and/or the document routing distribution group that will review the subcontract change order.
  3. If needed, contact the reviewers to advise them to review the subcontract change order.
  4. On the View Subcontract Log screen, periodically view the status of the document routing for the subcontract change order to monitor the review process.
  5. Once the subcontract change order is approved, manage the subcontract change order and the PDF file as needed.
