Use the equipment cost calculator

  1. Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
  2. From either the Estimate tab or the Catalog tab, do one of the following:
    • Add a new equipment cost item. See Basic Cost Items for details.

    • Select an existing equipment cost item and click Edit on the speedbar.

    Note: You can also access the equipment calculator from an equipment cost item in a list assembly.
  3. In the Cost Item window, click next to the selected Cost Basis field.
  4. Fill in the fields as described on the Equipment Cost Calculator Screen Field Reference.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The Cost Basis field is now inactive. You can edit the field using the equipment cost calculator.
