Use the equipment cost calculator
- Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.

From either the Estimate tab or the Catalog tab, do one of the following:
Add a new equipment cost item. See Basic Cost Items for details.
Select an existing equipment cost item and click Edit
on the speedbar.
Note: You can also access the equipment calculator from an equipment cost item in a list assembly. -
In the Cost Item window,
click
next to the selected Cost Basis field.
- Fill in the fields as described on the Equipment Cost Calculator Screen Field Reference.
- Click OK.
- The Cost Basis field is now inactive. You can edit the field using the equipment cost calculator.
