Retrieve and Sync Processed ePayments

Nvoicepay processes approved ePayments overnight and generates a response file, which provides details on which payments were sent, placed on hold, or voided.

These steps apply only after you Process Vendor ePayments Through Nvoicepay. For information about the Nvoicepay integration or enrollment process, see Vendor ePayment Processing.
A few days after you send a payment batch to Nvoicepay, you can retrieve the ePayment response file in ProContractor so that you have it as an audit trail.
Note: The Update Vendor ePayments screen displays a quick link at the top right that enables you to quickly navigate to a related screen.

To sync ePayments to ProContractor:

  1. Select Vendors > Payments > Update Vendor ePayments.
  2. Select the applicable Posting Group.
  3. Select Retrieve ePayments.
    Payment information is sorted into three tabs:
    • Voided: Payments that were voided before Nvoicepay processed them. As long as Nvoicepay has not yet processed a payment, you can void it in ProContractor. Voided ePayments are treated like any voided vendor payment in the system.
    • Approved: Payments that were processed and sent to vendors. This tab includes the payment date, payment method, and a transaction ID.
    • On Hold: Payments awaiting approval in Nvoicepay. Once approved (or voided) and retrieved in ProContractor, payment details flow to the Approved or Voided tabs accordingly.
  4. Select Save ePayment to sync any new information to ProContractor.
