The Customer Ship-to Addresses screen is used to maintain additional customer addresses for use during Quote Entry, Order Entry, and Invoice Entry.

Use the Ship Via File Maintenance to establish various quick entry codes for use during Quote Entry, Order Entry and Invoice Entry. The ship via code can be a single letter or number. For example, B can be created for "UPS Blue Label", or T for "Company Truck," or W for "Will Call." These codes may then be utilized during entry at the Ship Via Field by typing *W; the system will show "Will Call" on the order or invoice.

Use the Shipping Terms Maintenance screen to establish various quick entry codes for use during Quote Entry, Order Entry and Invoice Entry. The shipping terms code can be a single letter or number. For example, P can be created for "Prepaid", or C for "Collect." These codes may then be utilized during entry at the Shipping Terms Field; by typing *P, the system would show "Prepaid" on the order or invoice.

Shipping Terms Maintenance

Use the Message File Maintenance screen to establish various quick entry codes for use during Quote Entry, Order Entry and Invoice Entry. The message code can be one or two characters, either alpha or numeric. For example, TM can be created for "Our truck will deliver in your area on Monday." The message code may then be utilized during entry in the message field of a line item; by typing *TM, the system would show the full message on the quote, order or invoice. The message code is also recognized in the reference and remarks fields of quotes, orders and invoices, and during invoice printing.

Message File Maintenance

The Quantity Discount Maintenance screen is used to compute quantity discount for material handlers. Quantity discounts are set up by either item or category, with item overriding category when both options are available. The quantity discount is calculated by multiplying the rate specified in this screen by the invoice quantity, and is computed as Order Processing invoices are updated to Accounts Receivable.

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.
