You can work with jobs that spread across multiple drawings using either matchlines or Northing/Easting world coordinates.

If you want to calculate quantities for jobs that include multiple drawings, the drawings must use either matchlines or Northing/Easting world coordinates.

1. Optional: If needed, use the Matchline Point Manager screen to digitize reference points on existing drawings for matchlines.
2. Add paper plans to a job and align them using matchlines on the Add New Paper Plan Using Matchlines screen.
3. Optional: If needed, convert image files to BMP files for use in the Earthwork module.
4. Add digital plans using matchlines on the Add New Digital Plan Using Matchlines screen.
5. Add paper plans to a job and align them using Northing/Easting world coordinates on the Add New Paper Plans Using Northing/Easting screen.
