Copy Points on a Line

  1. Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.
  2. Select the Takeoff tab, if it is not already active.
  3. In the Active Layer field, click to select the layer that contains the line you want to copy.
  4. Click Select on the speedbar.
  5. Select the line for which you want to copy points.
  6. Click Prop on the speedbar.
  7. Do one of the following to select the points to copy:
    • Drag the stylus over the points you want to copy.
    • Click on the first point, press and hold Shift, and click on the last point.
    • Press Ctrl and [A] to select all.
  8. Click Copy.
  9. Click OK.
  10. In the Active Layer field, click to select the layer to which you want to copy the points.
  11. Press Ctrl and [V]. The points are copied to the layer as a new line with the same elevations, dimensions, and location as the original line.
