Use the Estimating Import/Export Tool to export estimate data to an MPX file for Microsoft Project Exchange. When you export the estimate to Microsoft Project Exchange, the following information of the estimate is exported:

• Description

• Extended Cost (XtdCost)

• WBS code

• Duration (defined as the calculation of the duration of a task in days, which is determined by the number of man-hours assigned to a cost item).

You can filter the estimate to export only specific cost items. See Sort and Filter the Estimate for more information.

To open a job in the Manage Estimates screen, click Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
