Formatted Text Editor Icon and Keyboard Reference
The following tables explain the icons and keyboard shortcuts you can use in a formatted text editor.
Icon Reference

| Displays of a list of available fonts and allows you to select a font. |

| Displays of a list of available font sizes and allows you to select a font size. |
|
| Displays a color palette and allows you to select a font color. |
|
| Displays a color palette and allows you to select a background color. |
|
| Cuts the selected text to the Windows clipboard. |
|
| Copies the selected text to the Windows clipboard. |
|
| Pastes the text from the Windows clipboard. |
|
| Bolds the selected text. |
|
| Italicizes the selected text. |
|
| Underlines the selected text. |
|
| Left aligns the text. |
|
| Center aligns the text. |
|
| Right aligns the text. |
|
| Spell checks the text in the formatted text editor. |

Keyboard Reference
In addition to the keys described below, you can also use the standard Windows editing keys (for example, Ctrl+V to paste) in the Formatted Text Editor.| Key | Description |

| F4 | Saves the contents of the formatted text editor and exits the window. |
| [F7] | Spell checks the text in the formatted text editor. |
| Ctrl + Tab | Saves the contents of the formatted text editor, exits the formatted text editor, and moves the cursor to the next field. |
| Shift + Ctrl + Tab | Saves the contents of the formatted text editor, exits the formatted text editor, and moves the cursor to the previous field. |
| Esc | Close the formatted text editor without saving the changes |

| Left | Moves the cursor one character to the left. |
| Right | Moves the cursor one character to the right. |
| Up | Moves the cursor to the previous line |
| Down | Moves the cursor to the next line |
| Page up | Performs the Page Up operation |
| Page down | Performs the Page Down operation |
| Ctrl + Left | Navigates to the previous word |
| Ctrl+Right | Navigates to the next word |
| Home | Navigates to the beginning of the current line |
| End | Navigates to the end of the current line |
| Ctrl + Home | Navigates to the beginning of the entire contents |
| Ctrl + End | Navigates to the end of the entire contents |
| Backspace | Deletes the selected text. If no text is selected, deletes the character to the left of the cursor. |
| Delete | Deletes the selected text. If no text is selected, deletes the character to the right of the cursor. |
| Alt + Enter | Inserts a line break. |
| Ctrl+[A] | Selects the entire contents of the editor. |
| Ctrl+[X] | Cuts the selected text to the Windows clipboard. |
| Ctrl+C | Copies the selected text to the Windows clipboard. |
| Ctrl+V | Pastes the text from the Windows clipboard. |
| Ctrl+[Z] | Performs and undo of the last operation. |
| Ctrl+[Y] | Performs a redo of the last undo operation. |
| Ctrl+[B] | Toggles bold formatting. |
| Ctrl+[I] | Toggles italic formatting. |
| Ctrl+[U] | Toggles underline formatting. |
