Add a user-defined field

  1. Open the User-Defined Fields screen.
  2. Click to select the document or record to which you want to add a user-defined field.
  3. Click to add a row to the grid.
  4. Complete the fields as described on the User-Defined Fields Screen Field Reference.
  5. Click Save UDFs.
  6. Repeat steps 2 - 5, as needed, to add other user-defined fields.
  7. Click Close.
    Note: When you close the screen after adding a user-defined field, Viewpoint Estimating shuts down.
  8. Restart Viewpoint Estimating.
