What's New in VFP 2025 R12
With the R12 VFP release of 2025, we introduced a new way to configure and select a download format for files in a container. We optimized the layout of the Select Enterprise screen to offer better user experience. The improved screen lists more enterprises.
VFP will experience temporary downtime outside of normal business hours for each region during the release. We are working hard to ensure a smooth transition and are excited to bring you this new update.
3D viewer enhancements
We made the Trimble Viewer the default viewer for all the IFC models. The previous Classic BIM viewer will still be available. We also updated the viewer so that the models created in IFC 4.3.2 will be compatible.
Container download format
You can now set a default download format for an enterprise, project, site, and a container. When you set a download format for an enterprise, it will be applied to the projects, sites, and containers under the enterprise. Standardizing the download format will reduce inconsistencies and promote efficient bulk data management.
