Return Onboarding Documents to New Hires for Review

Onboarding Admins can return onboarding documents to new hires for review and leave notes describing the issues with the documents.

You must be an Onboarding Admin to do this task.

Also, users must have completed their I-9 and W-4 documents for you to be able to review them and leave notes.

  1. Go to Employee Tools > Onboarding Dashboard.
  2. Select the employee's name from the Employee column.
  3. On the Onboarding Employee Details page, scroll down and select the Task Tracker section to open the dropdown.
  4. Review the new hire's completed forms.
  5. If there are any issues with the new hire's forms, select Return to user for a particular form, and enter any notes in the Add Comments popup window. Select Save.

    Admins can return a new hire's I-9 or W-4 form with notes.

After you submit your notes, the document changes to a status of Awaiting Employee Actionon the Onboarding Dashboard.
