Trimble ID Logins for Vista Web
Trimble ID logins are available for Trimble Construction One Vista Web cloud customers.
Types of Trimble ID Users: Native versus Managed Users
Admins can set up two different types of Vista Web Trimble ID users: native users or managed users.
- Native Trimble ID Users
- Users managed through Trimble ID (not through the Vista Web portal),
who have an email address as their username.
- Credentials: Email address, typically a company email address. Example for sample user, Charlie Day: charlie_day@trimble.com
- Login managed by: Trimble ID
- Typically used by: Employees with a company email address, employees who previously used SSO with Viewpoint ID
- Managed Trimble ID Users
- Users managed directly through the Vista Web portal,
who do not have a company email address.
- Credentials: Username with a portal-specific short code, not an email address. The short code comes before the user name: shortcode.username. Example for sample user, Charlie Day: buildco.cday
- Login managed by: Vista Web portal administrators
- Typically used by: Field employees who do not have a company email address and who are not VA Users, employees who previously logged in with their Employee #
