Field Definitions: EM Locations Form
The following is a list of field descriptions for the EM Locations form. Many of the descriptions include links to other topics that provide additional information about or related to the topic.
Location
Enter a code, up to 10 characters, that uniquely identifies this location. Location may be any place at which a piece of equipment can be stored (e.g. shop, specific job site, storage yard, etc.).
Description
Enter a description of this location, up to 30 characters.
Active
Checked by default. An active location can be used to designate a location at which a piece of equipment can be stored (e.g. shop, specific job site, storage yard, etc.).
Uncheck the box to designate a location as inactive. An inactive location can no longer be used in new records, but its history remains and is available on reports.
