Field Definitions: SM Standard Charges Form

The following is a list of field descriptions for the SM Standard Charges form. Many of the descriptions include links to other topics that provide additional information about or related to the topic.

Standard Item

The Standard Item field on the SM Standard Charges form.

Enter the standard item (from SM Standard Items) to include as a standard charge when performing service work and/or small jobs for this customer/service site. The system automatically adds this item as a miscellaneous work completed line to all work orders entered for the customer/service site (in SM Work Orders).

Note: You can delete standard items from the work completed grid if necessary once the work order has been entered and saved.

Cost Quantity

The Cost Quantity field on the SM Standard Charges form.

Enter the quantity of this standard item to expense. The value entered here will default as the Cost Qty on the work completed miscellaneous line (in SM Work Orders, Work Completed tab).

Note: Standard charges can be defined at the customer and service site levels; the cost quantity for this standard item at the service site level will override the cost quantity defined for this standard item at the customer level.

Price Quantity

The Price Quantity field on the SM Standard Charges form.

Enter the quantity of this standard item to charge the customer/service site. The value entered here defaults as the Bill Qty on the work completed miscellaneous line (in SM Work Orders, Work Completed tab).

Note: Standard charges can be defined at the customer and service site levels; the price quantity for this standard item at the service site level will override the price quantity defined for this standard item at the customer level.
