Publish to File
See File Formats that Quadri Supports for the data types you can publish from Quadri.
Find it here: Select Output > DWG on the ribbon.
Use this to send (publish) a plan presentation from a Quadri model to a file in which the original presentation settings are as fully retained as possible. Publishing to a file is done by making a plan presentation and then picking that presentation as the plan to publish to a file format:
Make a plan presentation
- On the ribbon, select Output and then click the drop-down arrow above Publish (beneath DWG). Find it here:
- Choose a file format to publish to. This opens the Publish to <file> ribbon.
- Choose file-specific options on the ribbon, depending on the format you choose. See these topics or Publish Settings for format-specific details:
- Click Finish when you are done.
Make the file based on the plan presentation:
- Click the Presentations tab and select 3D.
- On the 3D ribbon, click Source Features. This is to show what is currently selected to create a 3D presentation.
- Include the data you would like to publish.
- Choose a Presentation Setup that shows your data.
- Finish the plan presentation and see that the content looks okay.
- Pick the Plan Presentation to publish.
- Finish publishing and check that the content looks okay in a viewer.
Select a Destination for the file:
- Select destination for the file to publish:
- Select Project for uploading to Trimble Connect for Browser. You can select the current project, or any other of your active projects.
- Click the Projects button:
- Select destination folder in the current project.
- Enter a suitable name for the file.
- Click the Projects button in the dialog to access the list of your active projects if you want to select another destination project.
- Hit Save to finish.
- The information about Project, Folder and File name is displayed.
- Select ProjectWise for storing the file on in ProjectWise.
- When selecting ProjectWise, no selecting is done until you finish the task - Hit Finish and follow the steps.
- -select File for storing the file on disc.
- Click the File button:
- Select folder and a suitable file name.
- Hit Save.
The file path and name is displayed.
