Adjusting Employee Pay Rates
Learn how to adjust an employee's pay rates.
- On the Site Map screen, click .
- Specify an Employee code for whom you are adjusting rates, press F4 to select from a list of available employees, or press Enter to change rates for ALL employees.
- At the Department field, enter the department for whom you are managing benefits, press F4 to select from a list of available departments, or press Enter to change rates for ALL departments.
- At the Supervisor field, enter the supervisor managing the employees for whom you are changing rates, press F4 to select from a list of available supervisors, or press Enter to change rates for all supervisors.
- Select the Calculate new pay rate for selected employees checkbox if you want the software automatically calculate the pay rate change(s) for the selected employees. Specify whether to change the pay rate(s) by percentage or fixed amount.
- Select Pay types to include, any Other options to filter the employees that display in the listbox.
- Click Continue. The listbox will display the selected employees.
- Change the % change, Amount change, or New pay rate total and the other fields will be automatically updated.
- If the Calculate new pay rate for selected employees checkbox was selected, the % change, Amount change, New pay rate, and Effective date fields will be automatically calculated, but can be overwritten.
- Click the Update button.
