What's New in Field View 2025 R12
The Field View R12 release focuses on adding functionality to the mobile application. You now have the ability to update a 3D image after moving task and form pins. We also added the ability to update a model if it has revisions in Trimble Connect. In addition, you can see Field View information in the About window instead of links going to that information.
Field View will experience temporary downtime outside of normal business hours for each region during the release. We are working hard to ensure a smooth transition and are excited to bring you this new update.
Model Revisions
Field View will indicate if a model that originated in Trimble Connect has revisions. You will be able to upload the revisions and choose to update the model if it's assigned to a location, ensuring your project reflects the latest changes.
End of Support for Android 7.1, 8, 9, and iOS 15
As of R11, the minimum operating system requirements to install updates have changed to Android 10 and iOS 16. Users on older versions will still be able to use the app, but may not receive updates or access to new functionalities introduced in R11 and beyond.
Please note that while you are not required to upgrade your operating system immediately, remaining on an older version means you will eventually encounter in-app messages prompting you to update, which will not be possible without meeting the new OS requirements.
We strongly recommend upgrading to supported operating systems to ensure continued access to new features and to maintain security standards.
