This function is used to generate Cross-Section layouts into AutoCAD.

The cross-sections have to be drawn in the current drawing using the cross-section presentation tools. The workflow in the user interface is top-to-down.

Run the function from:

• Ribbon: Novapoint and Drawing Layouts and Cross-Section Layout Generator

The dialog Cross Section Layout Generator will pop up.

Procedure

• Cross Section Selection: Select the cross-section from the current drawing that is to be included in the layouts.
• Cross Section Placement Settings: Define the layout settings.
• Sheet Settings:
  • Select the sheet from the pull-down menu.
  • Mark the check box Use the title block to include the title block.
• Layout Settings: Specify Source layout name (generally layout1 in AutoCAD), Layout tab name, First tab number, and Tab number increment.

Click the button Draw to execute the function.
