Quantity Entry through Payroll

The Payroll entry methods of Pre-Time Card Entry, Pre-Time Card Import, and Time Card Entry are very similar. The idea is that quantities completed are reported at the time payroll hours are submitted. Generally the supervisor or foreman on the job will report quantities completed on their time sheet. For your convenience, Spectrum allows quantities to be entered via Payroll rather than having to make a separate entry within job cost quantity entry.

When entering quantities through payroll, it is important to keep in mind that this is still a job cost quantity transaction, not a payroll transaction. It is simply a mechanism for entering job cost data.

To access the quantity entry screens in payroll, click the Quantity button at the bottom of the Pre-Time Card Entry and Time Card Entry screens.

When the payroll cycle is updated, the quantity entries are also updated.
