Create New Objects
Create an object by setting out points or drawing lines and areas in the model.
Find it here: Select on the ribbon.
- Select a template (optional).
- Give the task a suitable name.
- Select a location in the process tree or write a new location. If a summary task was selected before you clicked the tool, it will pick up this location. If not, the default will be the root task.
- Click Settings to change settings, in addition to the ones found in the
ribbon.
- Spatial Metadata: Select if the features should get the status Proposed or Existing. Also select Medium if required.
- General: Default the Assist panel is set to be displayed. This will give assistance depending of the context.
- Snap: Select different snap modes.
- Select a result feature in the dropdown. Different geometry options will be enabled based on the selected feature type. For example, selecting a Tree feature will enable several possibilities to generate trees - as single objects, tree row as a line, or to fill out trees in an area.
- Click Finish to save the task.
Edit the feature - move/insert new/delete vertexes or extend/trim linear objects.
