Verify a New Hire's Eligibility for Employment with Fiddletree E-Verify
An integration with Fiddletree allows admins to electronically verify a new hire’s eligibility for employment by authorizing the information on their I-9 form.
- Employee group with Onboarding Admin permissions (assigned in User Group for Onboarding / ATS Admin Permissions)
- Hiring Location group with View or Initialize permissions (see Create and Manage Hiring Locations)
Additionally, for the e-verify option to show, a new hire must complete their portion of the I-9 and an Onboarding Admin must complete Section 2 of the I-9.
It is recommended to complete the e-verify process before you initialize a new hire to Vista, however you can complete the e-verify after initializing, if needed.
After initializing to Vista, a PDF copy of the verification also attaches to the new hire's record in Vista (either the HR Resources or PR Employee record, depending on which form is selected in the portal settings).
