Creating and Editing Layer Templates

Layers in a Digital Takeoff session in a network installation of Digital Takeoff utilize the Template Layers feature.

  • On the menu icon bar, select Layers.
  • To review or edit the Template, choose the Template Layers tab.

  • Also, when editing Estimate Layers, an option exists to copy the existing Layer to the Template.

  • In addition, when Editing an Estimate Layer, a checkbox for Template can be checked to copy the layer definition to the Template and Save.

NOTE: if the Name already exists, the correct action would be to edit the existing Template instead.
