ERROR: Only can log in to the system, till new users are created

Logging into the program can cause an error to display:  Only <user@company.com> can log in to the system, till new users are created.  Please contact support for assistance.

This error most frequently occurs on network versions and displays when a valid Trimble ID is used to log into the program, but a user record in the program has not been associated with the ID and no unassociated records are available.

It may be possible for users to correct this issue without contacting support if there is another user with a Trimble ID who is able to log all the way into the program.  This user must be a member of the Supervisor Group in the program.

Follow these steps:

1. Log into the program with a Trimble ID which is able to reach the Main Menu
2. Click File > Maintenance > Common > Users

3. Click Add User

4. Enter the new user's information
   1. User Initials - Enter the initials
   2. User Name - Enter the Trimble ID username (email address) for the new user
   3. E-mail - Enter the user's email address
   4. User Group  - Click the drop-down and in most cases select Supervisor or Estimator (Supervisors can add/edit/delete users, Estimators do not have access to users)
   5. Click OK

5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 to add any additional users
6. Click OK
7. At the Main Menu click File > Logout
8. Launch the program using the Trimble ID for the newly added user
9. If an Estimation Desktop Login window displays, select the user to associate with the Trimble ID used to launch the program, click LOG IN
10. The Main Menu of the program displays
