Grid lines remain visible even if crop region is used

Issue:
Grid remains visible even though annotation crop region is used. How to make the grid lines invisible outside this area. 

Solution:
It is not possible to change Grids of a linked model directly. The visibility of grid cannot be changed by editing the size of the Crop View.

Workaround:

1. Go to Collaborate tab > Copy / Monitor.  Select the Grid lines from the linked model to copy to your own model. 
2. Select the copied grid lines and shorten them. 
3. Make the grid lines in the linked model invisible in the V/G settings and ensure that only the copied grid lines are shown.
