Context Sometimes it is necessary to generate a panel schedule from several already existing panel schedules. For example, when the main panel of one or more sub-panels needs to be drawn, and these sub-panels have already been drawn with extra manually added symbols and adjusted diversity factors.
This guide describes how to import and merge these schedules. We assume the following situation: The main panel HKL has two circuits K1 and K2. Sub-panel LK1 is connected to circuit K1, and sub-panel LK2 is connected to circuit K2. The panel schedules for LK1 and LK2 have already been drawn.
Workflow: Importing and merging schedules
  1. Create a new drawing in StabiBASE for the main panel's schedule (e.g., Panel schedule HKL.dwg) and open it in AutoCAD.
  2. Run the Manage installation function and in the Read Installation Data dialog, choose only the option 'Current Drawing'.
  3. Click [Import] in the installation overview dialog, ensure everything is checked, and click [Select Drawing].
  4. Select the first existing panel schedule (e.g., Panel schedule LK1.dwg) and click [OK]. Click [OK] on the next prompt as well.
  5. Rename the panels that have "_1" added to them by removing the "_1" from the panel name. (Note: the power values are not correct yet, this will be fixed later).
  6. Click [Save].
  7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 (skipping step 5) to import the next panel schedule (e.g., Panel schedule LK2.dwg).
  8. Delete circuit K2 from the already existing panel HKL.
  9. Drag circuit K2 from the newly imported panel HKL_1 to panel HKL.
  10. Rename the sub-panel on K2 by removing "_1" from the panel name.
  11. Delete the newly imported panel HKL_1 and click [Save].
  12. Repeat this process until all panel schedules are imported, then click [OK].
Workflow: Updating power and drawing the schedule 13. Run the Manage Installation function again. 14. In the Read Installation Data dialog, now choose BOTH options: 'Current Drawing' AND 'Other Files'. 15. Select the original installation drawing(s) (e.g., Installationdrawing.dwg) and click [OK]. 16. Click [OK] again. The correct power values have now been added to the circuits. 17. In the Installation Overview dialog, go to [Draw] -> Panel schedule. The complete panel schedule of the main panel HKL will now be drawn with the correct (total) power values.
