Context How can a panel name be adjusted when there is already an existing Panel Schedule? Below are the steps for two different situations.
Situation A: Installation and schedule are in the same drawing
  1. Rename the panel in the drawing. This means the panel name must be adjusted both in the properties of the panel itself and in all linked symbols.
  2. Save the installation drawing.
  3. Open the schedule drawing.
  4. Open Installation Management and ensure the installation drawing is selected in the 'Read installation data' menu. The new panel name is now visible as a new panel. If the panel name is correctly adjusted in all symbols, the old panel will have an asterisk (*) next to it.
  5. Now delete the new panel in Installation Management.
  6. Rename the panel with the asterisk (*) to the new panel name.
  7. Close Installation Management with the OK button.
  8. Reopen Installation Management and draw the panel schedule again.
Situation B: Installation and schedule are worked out in different files
  1. Rename the panel in the installation drawing. (Tip: Select all symbols in the drawing, create a filter via 'Select filter' > "All categories" > "Panel" > "Equals" > "", apply the filter, and adjust the name in the field next to "Panel name").
  2. Save the installation drawing.
  3. Open the schedule drawing.
  4. Open Installation Management and ensure the installation drawing is selected under 'Read installation data'.
  5. Delete the new panel in Installation Management.
  6. Rename the panel with the asterisk (*) to the new panel name.
  7. Close Installation Management with the OK button.
  8. Reopen Installation Management and draw the panel schedule again.
