How to: Search for projects and documents in StabiBASE

Context: Finding files quickly As your StabiBASE database grows, manually expanding folders is no longer efficient. In the project explorer, you can search for any letter or number to instantly retrieve your documents.
Getting Started: Using the Search function
  1. Click the Search icon (the magnifying glass) in the top toolbar or use the shortcut CTRL+F,.
  2. Determine your search scope: specify whether to search within 'All' (all projects) or just within one specific project,.
  3. Type your search term into the Folder or file name field. Tip: You can use Windows Wildcards here, such as an asterisk * (for example, Elek* to find all files starting with this).
  4. Check the option 'Search also in descriptions' if the search term is located in the file's description rather than the filename.
  5. Click the Search button to display the results. (Optional: For complex queries, you can expand the 'Advanced' menu to search using multiple conditions simultaneously).
