Update: 16 October 2025:

Microsoft has indicated that a hotfix for KB5066835 is available, a reboot should solve the issue.

 

Probleem:

 

Problem:

Cannot sign into Stabibase. Localhost error.

Solution:

If you suddenly can not log in from Stabicad or other Trimble applications, please check this:

  • Go to "Start", type "update" and click on "Check for updates"

  • Turn off automatic updates

  • Select "Update history"

  • scroll down and select "Uninstall updates"

  • See if you can see KB5066835 in this list and select to uninstall it

After restarting your pc, you should now be able to log in again. If not, repeat the process with KB5065789 and try again.

Be sure to have disabled automated updates before reboot, some domain controlled PC's have their own policies when turning off the computer. (inform your IT)

NB! Please remember that you have now turned off automatic updates! Follow info about KB5066835 online and as soon as you see there is a fix from Microsoft, update your pc and turn on automatic updates again!
